The training is not about how to make better use of Figma or Adobe XD. It’s about design thinking and how to tackle complex UX challenges and come up with good solutions, faster. You can choose any tool that you prefer — from low-fidelity paper drawing to elaborate InVision prototypes. Obviously, the more detailed your work is, the better; however, the ideas matter more than their execution.
Every Monday, a new UX assignment will be announced — and you will have two options to choose from. Pick one that is more relevant to you, or that you think would help you in advancing in your work. They will also have a slightly different complexity level (which will also be announced), so if you feel that you’d like to take it a bit easier (which is fine!), you’ll have that option, too.
To receive a UX certification, you need to successfully complete 4 projects., e.g. on paper, in Figma, Adobe XD etc. Please set aside around 5–10h every week for these projects.
One of the many challenges that might be awaiting you in the training!
We are here at this training to learn and to have fun. If you feel that you are under enormous stress and you can’t deliver in time without some personal sacrifices, put the training on hold — it can wait.
Please add a link to your homework (screenshot, Figma/InVision/Adobe XD URL) on your page, before the deadline. The homework will be reviewed usually in the few days after the deadline. You will receive a video recording of the review, or it will be a live session with Vitaly. ****
